Hidral reinforces its commitment to safety on platforms.

Safety both for the end user and maintenance personnel has always been a main concern at Hidral.

Hidral reinforces its commitment to safety on platforms.
As a further step in this direction, EH SAFETY PLUS, a program for the continuous improvement in safety aspects has been developed. The suggestions of the personnel at Hidral, feedback from clients and maintenance teams, the specific demands of the lift companies as well as the requirements of the Directives that apply to Goods Only Platform Lifts, have all been united and taken into consideration. The result even exceeds the requirements of the prEN 81-31, which will in the future be applicable to Accessible Goods Only Lifts.
All Hidral platforms have recently been supplied with a safety blocking device for maintenance operations in the pit, a plug-in inspection push button panel with a power supply -designed for exclusive access to use by the maintenance personnel- and entrance detection to the pit by non qualified personnel, thus increasing the safety of all these operations. As for the electric board, the following elements have been included: lockable safety main switch, circuit breakers and earth leakage, both for the control and lighting circuits.
Hidral also manufactures and supplies doors that are specifically designed to withstand the hard work of goods elevation; they include an electric lift safety lock with double coil, and reinforced hinges.
When required for safety reasons in the transport of the goods, either side walls with heights of up to 2,5 m or cabins may be supplied as an option, both in galvanised or stainless steel sheet.
